The Colorado Automotive Reporting System (CARS) is the system used to manage information about the State of Colorado's fleet of vehicles. All State vehicles are required to be enrolled in the State Fleet Management program with the exception of CDOT's heavy duty fleet and vehicles donated to State agencies. The heart of CARS is a vehicle database that contains detailed information about each vehicle and its attachments from acquisition to disposal.
All CARS users utilize the CARS application by way of CARSWeb. Please note: State Security protocols require you to change your CARS password every 30 days.
Refer to the CARS Download Instructions for CARSWeb installation instructions and troubleshooting steps.
If you require additional technical support, need your CARS password reset, or if you would like to request a new CARS account, please submit a ticket to the SFM Help Desk.
IMPORTANT: CARS is getting an upgrade! The tentative Go Live date is Monday, October 14, 2024. Additional information and Support Options can be found in the CARS Upgrade 2024 Announcement
