CARS

The Colorado Automotive Reporting System (CARS) is the system used to manage information about the State of Colorado's fleet of vehicles. All State vehicles are required to be enrolled in the State Fleet Management program with the exception of CDOT's heavy duty fleet and vehicles donated to State agencies. The heart of CARS is a vehicle database that contains detailed information about each vehicle and its attachments from acquisition to disposal.

All CARS users can utilize either the MyCARS Application or the CARS  Application. Your CARS username and password will work for both MyCARS and CARS. Please note: State Security protocols require you to change your CARS password every 30 days.

Use the MyCARS Application if your primary duty is to enter monthly mileage for a few vehicles or if you need to check Preventive Maintenance status.

Use the CARS Application if your primary duty is to enter monthly mileage for more than a few vehicles of if your duties go beyond entering monthly mileage.
