Supporting State agencies with full-service facilities management and provides the public with special event permits, ceremonial flags, and information resources. The Capitol Complex team maintains the State Capitol, the Governor's Mansion, and other State buildings with routine maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, custodial, and grounds maintenance.

Capitol Complex Facility Cleaning — ALL BUILDINGS

In an effort to keep state employees informed of the cleaning methods being used in all DPA managed buildings, Capitol Complex has met with State Capitol custodial crews and contracted custodial vendors to ensure that staff are cleaning all public areas as per CDC and CDPHE guidelines. No wipes in the pipes, use only toilet paper.

These instances increase restroom closures and could cause extended restroom outages.

Personal use wipes may be used, but should be disposed of in trash receptacles, and NOT flushed down the toilets. As noted in this article, even wipes labeled as "flushable" are not designed to be processed through standard plumbing systems, and will cause continued plumbing system damage.
