CARS Upgrade - POSTPONED - Please continue to use CARSWeb Version 10.03.07
The Colorado Automotive Reporting System (more commonly known as CARS) is getting an upgrade; it is migrating to a new server and a new Appeon/Power Builder Platform! Rest assured, system functionality will remain the same with this upgrade so end users shouldn’t notice any changes except for the new URL.

Should there be any issues during Go-Live, the backup plan is to resume the use of the current CARSWeb version. Therefore, we ask that you do not uninstall the current version of CARSWeb or Appeon.
In preparation for the transition, you will need to install the new version of CARS. You can do this at any time by following the instructions in the CARS 2024 Installation Guide.
Timeline of the Transition (tentative):
07/26/2024 - 09/27/2024: CARS Testing
10/11/2024 5:00 p.m.: CARS will be unavailable beginning Friday, October 11 at 5:00 p.m.
10/14/2024 7:00 a.m.: POSTPONED
Be sure to watch for communication from OIT and from the Fleet Application Support and Training Team (FAST), dpa_sfmtraining_support@state.co.us.
